What A Simple Photoshoot Can Do!

March 10, 2019

They say truth is very liberating, so he we go! I have in the past (and somewhat in the present) struggled with depression, rejection, low-self esteem, acceptance, and confidence issues, not seeing myself as worthy of any good or even sabotaging my own success simply because of past rejections and others opinions...so a recent photoshoot was a blessing to me as I have not had professional photos since high school.

Since my mom's death, God has really been working on the issues that I have ignored. I have come to the conclusion that focusing on what we consider the "negative" parts of us or wishing we had someone else's life, we run the risk of missing out on all the greatest God has planned for us because the cloud of condemnation will always distort our view. Although I still battle from time to time, I am so grateful and confident in the fact that God's love is empowering, His grace is sufficient, and His strength is perfect! I am full of purpose and created to make an impact!

So for those that are struggling to see yourself like God sees you because of your past...Get a photoshoot (from a professional now, no iPhone stuff) you'll be surprised at what you see!

Shout out to Vessel: L.K. Watson for the dope photos! Get at him for your next shoot! Log on to www.lkwatson.com

Remember...

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." - Psalms 139:13-14 ESV

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." -Romans 8:1
